Fall is the season of bounty, and at Twig & Bloom we embrace what nature has to offer. Fresh local florals are in abundance in the early fall season. Some of our favourite florals are in bloom and ready for harvest. Fall florals carry warmth through their colours and tones and unique textures for designing. Fall is by far one of our favourite seasons. Across our studio locations we celebrate the season with community and private workshops that centre around gathering and creating together. A floral workshop is a perfect creative opportunity to spend quality time in a creative space. Floral workshops may even introduce you to your next favourite flower. Our Top Fall Florals

Hydrangeas

White hydrangeas are an elegant soft floral that is perfect for weddings and events. Their airy texture and delicate blooms are just some of the reasons we would consider it a top favourite.

Dahlias

These large blooms add a bold pop of colour in variety of bright tones. The quintessential fall flower, dahlias’s are a focal point in any bouquet or arrangement.

Zinnias

This fall flower has a cheery face and invites the garden into the design. Its full blooms range from soft peaches, oranges, yellows, to bright pinks and deep reds.

Celosia

A unique bloom that stands out from the rest. With its bright colourful plume celosia is a whimsical textural element to a design.

Fall Foliage

We can’t forget about the changing leaves. There’s so much variety, colour, and texture with fall foliage. You can’t miss its beauty even as you drive to work or walk down your street. Utilizing local fall foliage brings an organic garden feel and truly embraces the fall season.

Just like the colours outside, the colours in the studio are gently shifting to match the season. With gatherings like Thanksgiving on the horizon you may notice blooms available for celebrating and togetherness (and maybe the odd pumpkin). Our designs are attuned to nature’s shifts and changes.
